Federación is a bakery based in the historic neighborhood of Ciudad Vieja, in Montevideo, Uruguay. They offer slow-fermentation sourdough pastries and bread, along with breakfast and brunch options.

Montevideo’s food scene was growing faster than ever, and at Federación, we wanted to be part of that shift—from concept to action. We envisioned Federación as a place of exploration: a space where new gastronomic ideas could emerge and evolve, a fermenter of ideas bringing to life concepts not yet present in Uruguay.
